Clyde Siebman, Michael Smith, Elizabeth Forrest honored by Best Lawyers in America
SHERMAN/PLANO/DALLAS/MARSHALL/LUFKIN, Texas – Accomplished Texas attorneys Clyde M. Siebman and Michael C. Smith of Siebman, Forrest, Burg & Smith have been named among the country’s top legal practitioners in the 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
Siebman Forrest name partner Elizabeth S. Forrest also has been selected to the inaugural Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list of young attorneys who have demonstrated professional excellence on behalf of clients.
All three attorneys earned selection based on nominations from other lawyers who practice within the same geographical area and handle the same types of cases.
Mr. Siebman is recognized in the 2021 edition of Best Lawyers for his expertise in copyright law, patent litigation, trademark law, and commercial litigation. Mr. Smith is being honored for his work in intellectual property litigation and patent litigation. Ms. Forrest is included for her work in commercial litigation, intellectual property law, and patent litigation.
In 2020, Mr. Siebman was named the Dallas/Fort Worth Copyright Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers. He also earned selection as Best Lawyers’ 2019 Dallas/Fort Worth Patent Litigation Lawyer of the Year. He has held the highest AV-Preeminent ranking from Martindale-Hubbell for more than two decades.
