Since 1988, Jeff has been representing clients throughout North Texas in a variety of matters. His experience includes cases involving personal injury/wrongful death, construction litigation, insurance claims, business litigation, breach of contract disputes and employment matters.
Jeff has held an “AV Preeminent” rating since 2005. This designation reflects the “highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards” and is the product of “a strenuous Peer Review Rating process” established by Martindale-Hubbell.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Austin College in 1985 and his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1988. While in law school, Jeff demonstrated excellence in oral advocacy and was inducted into The Order of Barristers. He was also selected to the Board of Advocates where he served as chairman his final year of law school. Jeff also earned a certification for the mediation training he received through the Mediation and Dispute Resolution Program at Southern Methodist University in 2004.
He has also served as Head of School for Texoma Christian School and on the Leadership Advisory Council of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools.
Jeff and his wife Shelley both grew up in Sherman and still reside in the area. They have two grown sons, Reid and Blake.
